If you have it to hand it saves a round trip. If you do not, write anyway — we would rather have a vague email than none.

→What you want to exist, in your own words.
→Who would use it, and what they do today instead.
→Whether anything is built already — and roughly how it was built.
→What is going wrong, if something is.
→Any deadline that actually matters.

Before you write

You do not have to trust us yet.

If you would rather have a mutual NDA in place before describing your idea or sending any code, say so in your first email and we will sign one before you tell us anything further. That is a normal request and we will not find it insulting.
